Sometimes called intravascular laser blood irradiation, soft laser acupuncture uses ‘soft lasers’ to stimulate cellular metabolism, improve circulation, renew cells and activate the antioxidant enzyme and immune systems. Unlike acupuncture, the body is not treated from the outside. Instead a single, sterile fibre is introduced into the blood flow through a cannula, which then irradiates the blood cells directly with laser light.

This completely harmless technique requires only a fraction of the laser light that would be required for external laser-acupuncture (on the skin). It can be administered either exclusively or as part of a tailored treatment programme.
